One company. One team. One result.

We are the only completion solutions provider that designs, manufactures, and deploys its own perforating technology, providing best in class products and services to the oil and gas industry.

The full bottom-hole assembly from one company

Wellmatics supplies the complete assembly: setting tool, perforating guns, shaped charges, and release tool. That normally takes four different vendors. Because GR deploys it in the field, you get one team handling it end to end.

Architecture

Two brands, one company

Wellmatics is the technology engine inside GR, and the two brands work together to tell the full story. Visit wellmatics.com for deep technical specs, product details, and the PHIRE System innovation hub.

History

Our story

Built in Sugar Land, Texas, to move faster and adapt quicker to what the field actually needs.

2013

Founders with more than 80 years of combined oilfield service and entrepreneurial experience set out to build a company with the service quality of a major and the agility of the middle market.

2015

First acquisitions — Flex Flow and Express — took GR into the production market as water disposal volumes rose and completion intensity grew.

2017

An early adopter of the Rig Lock quick-connect system, GR acquired the Ark-La-Tex assets, broadening both wireline and pressure control capability.

2018–2019

Continued capital investment expanded GR into six major basins and established it as a highly efficient, value-add service provider.

2020

GR developed its own plug-and-play gun system to compete with high-end systems, and established Wellmatics to develop and market new completion products and processes.

2022

Through a severe industry downturn, GR gained market share on service quality, technology adoption and close customer alignment.

2025

Private equity buyout.

Today and beyond

A proven record of growth, and a clear goal: fully automate the service delivered to the operator.

We're hiring

Join a team that values speed, precision, and veteran experience.

Safety is our culture

Every GR crew is API RP 67 certified and empowered to stop the job if something is not right. In the Haynesville, where pressures punish hesitation, our safety record is the only one operators trust without reservation.

What is API RP 67?

The American Petroleum Institute’s Recommended Practice for Oilfield Explosives Safety. It sets out how explosives used in perforating are stored, transported, handled, armed and run at the wellsite.
